4th Annual Christina Latini Memorial 8K and 2 Mile Walk and Virtual Run

Please join us as we celebrate Christina and support Operation Sweet Tooth on September 17, 2022. We will be back at the same location: Grand Oak Elementary School, 15410 Stumptown Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078.

On the day before she was to receive her Holy Communion, Friday May 6th, 2016, we lost our daughter, Christina, to a disease called Myocarditis. We have never recovered from this loss, and I am sure we never will. As a parent, losing a child is unfathomable and each and every day we mourn our baby and question how this could happen to her? To help our grieving process and keep Christina’s spirit alive, we decided to create a non-profit organization called Operation Sweet Tooth. Our mission is to honor Christina by supporting the youth in our community. Our goal is to raise funds, toys, personal items and school supplies for the children in our community who are sick, impoverished, displaced, homeless or just need their spirits lifted. We also bring attention to heart health and have been protecting children and patrons by donating AED’s to parks and schools.

It’s of great importance that we are able to turn our pain into purpose, and support children in their times of need, reminding them there are strangers out there who do care.
